Job summary

Drucker + Falk, LLC is seeking a Maintenance/Service Technician for Chelsea Square in Richmond, VA. This role performs make-ready repairs on vacant units and participates in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to emergencies.

Ideal candidates have HVAC/CFC skills and a broad range of plumbing, electrical and carpentry abilities. You will support the Service Manager, assist with maintenance tasks, and help keep the property in excellent condition.

Qualifications

• HVAC skills with CFC certification
• CPO certification preferred
• Plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills
• Knowledge of SDS and OSHA regulations
• 608 Refrigerant Certification preferred, but not required; will train if necessary
• Current driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to make-ready units in a timely manner.
• Respond to on-call paging within 24 hours as scheduled by Service Manager.
• Assist Service Manager or Housekeeper with their work when necessary.
• Assist Grounds personnel with trashing out units if necessary.
• Inventory control and utilization of maintenance materials and supplies.
• Inspect property for improvements and repairs and review with the Service Manager.
• Perform work order requests and maintenance requests.
• Ensure grounds are free of litter at all times.
• Operate and perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment.
• Know emergency cut offs and sewer clean outs.
• Paint interior and exterior when required.
• Be available for after-hours on-call on a rotating basis.
