Job summary

Indigo Living is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician for Oakwood Place/Pointe on 88th to ensure units are ready for new residents and to support 24/7 operations. You’ll work with property managers, handle on-call duties, and keep the maintenance shop stocked with parts and supplies.

The role emphasizes customer service, hands-on repair knowledge, and a flexible schedule including some weekend coverage. A company vehicle is provided during on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance with a safety-conscious approach.
• Ability to lead small maintenance tasks and communicate clearly.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and handle weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing make-ready checklists to ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
• Participating in after-hours emergency team coverage with a company vehicle.
• Obtaining bids and negotiating prices for repair work (e.g., fallen tree on roof).
• Ordering and inventorying supplies for the maintenance shop.
