Job summary

AMC ACQUISITIONS LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to perform a variety of in-unit and building maintenance tasks at the community. The role includes preventative maintenance, make-ready of vacant units, and supervising outside contractors.

You will participate in 24-hour emergency responses and on-call rotations, with responsibilities spanning building systems, grounds, and inspections. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; literacy in English.
• Six months to one year of related maintenance experience.
• Basic computer skills including data entry; property software knowledge helpful.
• Valid US driver's license; HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance checks.
• Read and comprehend maintenance manuals and service bulletins.
• Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed.
• Assist in monitoring all work by outside contractors.
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service responses.
• Carry on-call cell phone as required.
• Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
• Alert the Property Manager of any unusual occurrences or damage.
• Perform grounds work such as trash pickup, sweeping, and landscaping.
• Complete quarterly unit-by-unit inspections.
