Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support property operations by performing repairs and upkeep, and preparing vacant units for occupancy. The role requires strong tool skills, HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, and reliable on-call availability.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge required.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience required.
• Able to operate various hand tools, including power tools.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upkeep of the property and prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances about property or residents.
• Maintain professional property uniform and appearance.
• Follow OSHA standards and safety policies at all times.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Secure maintenance shops at the close of each day.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and 24-hour service response.
