Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the upkeep of our property buildings and grounds and prep vacant units for occupancy. This on-site role supports the daily operations of our communities and requires hands-on maintenance skills.

Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining property, managing supplies, ensuring tools are available, and responding to service requests with a 24-hour on-call duty.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge required.
• Experience as a property maintenance/handyman.
• Ability to read instructions and work safely.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upkeep of the property and prepare vacant units.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances.
• Maintain a professional uniform.
• Follow OSHA standards and safety policies.
• On-call availability and 24-hour response to service requests.
• Secure maintenance shops at close.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions and respond to service requests.
