Job summary

The Quarters Lincoln, operated by Tailwind Group, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs and support preventative maintenance, ensuring the property runs smoothly for residents. This in-person, part-time role requires rotating nights and weekends and daily on-site presence.

Qualifications

• One or more years of maintenance experience in property or facilities.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing knowledge preferred.
• CPO certification preferred or may be required by property/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service with residents, prospects, vendors, officials, and community members; prioritizing others and fighting for their highest possible good.
• Maintain curb appeal by daily property walks and maintenance of grounds.
• Perform general repairs in apartment units, common areas, and building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, drywall).
• Lead turnover and make-ready tasks including furniture removal and installation; supervise temporary staff.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality workmanship and service.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and fulfill on-call duties.
• Support the Maintenance Manager with preventative maintenance programs.
• Attend team and 1:1 meetings to stay aligned on operations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas neatly and professionally.
