Job summary

The Quarters Lincoln, a Tailwind Group property, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs and support preventative maintenance. This role emphasizes strong customer service, organized work, and a hands-on approach to keep the property operating at a high level for residents.

This is a part-time, in-person position with rotating nights and weekends. The compensation ranges from $17.86 to $22.33 per hour plus bonus potential, determined by market data and qualifications.

Qualifications

• One year of maintenance experience in housing or similar setting.
• Experience with appliance and HVAC repair preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• CPO certification preferred or may be required based on property/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and stakeholders.
• Maintain property curb appeal through daily walks and upkeep of grounds.
• Perform general repairs in units and common areas (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances).
• Assist with turnover and make-ready processes, including furniture removal/installation.
• Lead temporary staff during peak periods and coordinate with vendors/contractors.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and participate in on-call schedule.
• Support the Maintenance Manager with preventative maintenance program.
• Attend team and 1:1 meetings to stay aligned with property operations.
