Jones Street Residential, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and assist the Maintenance Supervisor in keeping our properties running efficiently and addressing maintenance requests promptly.

The role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry and painting, with on-call responsibilities after hours and on weekends. You will maintain work orders and ensure safety and compliance with OSHA, ADA, and Fair Housing laws, while building strong resident rapport.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in residential, commercial, or mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly and professionally.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy with painting, carpentry and repairs.
• Maintain safety and quality in make-ready and maintenance tasks.
• Repair walls, windows, ceilings and patches as needed.
• Log actions and supplies in the work order system.
• Provide resident-focused customer service and build rapport.
• Rotate on-call duties for after-hours emergencies and weekends.
• Adhere to OSHA, ADA, and Fair Housing regulations.
