Job summary

Pivotal Housing Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Enclave at Winston Salem community (72 units). You will provide high quality service to residents, perform routine upkeep, and respond to emergencies with a service-minded attitude.

You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks, complete work orders in 24–48 hours, and help maintain a safe, attractive living environment. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• HVAC training and certification preferred
• Commitment to regular attendance (may include weekend and OT hours)
• Ability to be “on-call” for emergencies
• Ability to receive, manage, and close work orders using smartphone applications

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to residents
• Complete resident work orders on a timely basis (24 to 48-hour expectation)
• Broad knowledge of general maintenance: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Assist with court-ordered set-outs when necessary
• Perform unit turnover between residents per company standards (3-5 days)
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal
• Be responsive to on-call emergencies
• Manage and close work orders using the mobile app
