Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and two years of experience working directly with the public.
• De-escalation training is strongly preferred.
• Experience in customer service is preferred as this role has a strong customer service focus.
• Must have a valid Colorado driver's license.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a courteous, welcoming atmosphere.
• Patrol library facilities to identify safety and security concerns.
• Explain library policies and de-escalate conflicts.
• Provide courier services between locations and enforce safety policies.
• Write incident reports and notices; conduct investigations as needed.
• Assist with opening/closing security checks and monitoring alarms.
