Job summary

Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) is hiring Janitors and Custodians for a range of cleaning duties in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role focuses on keeping common areas and bathrooms clean, safe, and well-maintained for tenants, guests, and vendors.

Expect to perform vacuuming, mopping, floor care, dusting, sanitizing, trash duties, and light maintenance tasks. Applicants should be able to lift 50 lbs, work on site, and communicate clearly with team and management.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Lift 50 pounds or more.
• Experience using cleaning products and floor/carpet cleaning equipment.
• Able to work in a team or independently as needed.
• Strong reporting and clear verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Stripping, buffing and waxing floors.
• Dusting ceilings, fittings, countertops, and furniture.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens.
• Emptying trash and cleaning windows.
• Assist management with projects and reported repairs.
