Job summary

Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) in San Francisco, CA, seeks friendly Janitors and Custodians to clean common areas and bathrooms for residential and commercial properties. You will help maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment for tenants, guests, and vendors.

Ideal candidates are observant, polite, and proactive about improving service levels, with the ability to work on a team or alone when needed.

Qualifications

• Stand for long periods and perform cleaning tasks safely.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Experience with cleaning products and floor/carpet machines.
• Work well in a team and independently when needed.
• Strong report writing and clear verbal communication.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors of various types.
• Strip, buff, and wax floors as needed.
• Dust ceilings, fittings, countertops, and furniture.
• Scrub and sanitize toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Empty trash and wash/dry windows.
• Request supplies, report breakages and repairs.
• Assist management with projects and other duties.
