Job summary

Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) is seeking friendly, detail-oriented Janitors and Custodians to provide cleanliness for common areas and bathrooms at properties in Alameda, Berkeley, Fremont, Pittsburg, Pleasant Hill, Pleasanton, Walnut Creek.

You will ensure tenants, guests and vendors have a clean, healthy, and safe property to live or work in, requiring politeness, thoroughness, and observant service to improve facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning with products and equipment.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Stripping, buffing and waxing floors of various types.
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and furniture.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash, washing and drying windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders and reporting repairs.
• Assisting building management with projects and other duties.
