Job summary

Planned Companies is seeking Janitors and Custodians to perform cleaning of common areas and restrooms. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe property for tenants, guests and vendors, with a need for polite and observant service.

Responsibilities include floor care, dusting, sanitizing fixtures, trash removal, and assist with projects as required. On-call schedule and Alameda-area properties are mentioned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with cleaning products and equipment for floors and carpets.
• Ability to work on a team or independently as needed.
• Strong written reporting and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors of various types.
• Strip, buff, and wax floors as needed.
• Dust ceilings and fixtures and clean surfaces.
• Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and fixtures.
• Empty trash and wash/dry windows.
• Order supplies and report breakages or repairs.
• Assist management with projects and other duties.
