Job summary

Planned Companies is hiring janitors and custodians for building services in San Jose and Mountain View, CA. You will perform floor care, bathroom sanitation, and general cleaning to keep tenants, guests, and vendors in a safe, healthy environment.

This is a full-time, on-site role offering competitive pay of $21.50 per hour, with benefits for full-time staff and participation in the 401K plan. The shift pattern includes weekend availability and teamwork with building management on various

Qualifications

• Standing for extended periods is required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Experience with cleaning products and floor/carpet cleaning equipment.
• Able to work in a team or independently as needed.
• Strong report writing and clear verbal communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Stripping, buffing and waxing floors of various types.
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, counters and furniture.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash and washing/drying windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders and reporting breakages.
• Assisting management with projects and other duties.
