Job summary

Greenwood Fabricating & Plating, LLC is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician in Greenwood, SC. The role involves maintaining mechanical equipment, electrical systems, HVAC, and control systems, with preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and on-call duties.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of related experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team. CMMS knowledge and PLC familiarity are pluses.

Qualifications

• Proven experience maintaining industrial equipment and facilities.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and services a building or plant's mechanical equipment, control systems, power distribution systems, and HVAC systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance and routine repairs to systems and equipment.
• Conduces safety and maintenance inspections to evaluate equipment for replacement and wear.
• Uses diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair equipment, engines, and compressors.
• Orders parts needed for replacement and coordinates with service providers to complete maintenance tasks.
• Uses a CMMS or work order system to track and document activities.
• Ability to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, pipe, and electrical systems using tools.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus and electronic components of machinery.
• Layout, assembles, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of manufacturing establishments and buildings.
• Follow established safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Additional duties may be assigned as department needs require.
