Job summary

GreenWood, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance on production equipment in a highly automated environment. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, document repair details, and prepare equipment for production after repairs.

You will read schematics and manuals, support site services for parts, and perform PM/PdM to improve uptime while following safety standards. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or two years related experience required.
• One year of manufacturing maintenance experience or related technical training.
• 2 years in a high-volume manufacturing maintenance environment preferred.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS systems is required.
• CNC skills and experience are highly desired.
• Ability to read and apply equipment manuals, specs, and BOMs.
• Strong written and verbal instruction comprehension and communication.
• Must be able to perform overhead work and operate mobile equipment.
• Ability to work with others and follow safety guidelines.
• Budge to meet essential job functions with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic breakdown and repair of production and facilities equipment with quick analysis of mechanical and electrical issues.
• Collects and assists with documentation of repair details.
• Prepares and sets up equipment for production after repair and guides others as needed.
• Reads mechanical drawings and electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics; uses manuals and BOMs.
• Assists Site Services with receiving, counting, storing, recording, inventorying and issuing parts.
• Troubleshoots facility support equipment and determines corrective actions.
• Provides technical support to keep equipment ready for operation.
• Performs PM and PdM to enhance safety and uptime.
• Trains team members per certification process.
• Follows safety standards and regulations.
• Maintains readiness using tools, hoists, cranes and measuring/testing instruments.
• Performs overhead work including conduit and piping and lighting tasks.
• Operates forklifts, manlifts, scissor lifts and other mobile equipment.
• Ensures staff follow training and work instructions.
• Collaborates across teams and shifts.
• Documents maintenance in SAP or CMMS; records checks and measures.
• Maintains 5S housekeeping standards in work area.
• Operates facility equipment within specifications.
• Complies with TS 16949 and ISO 14000.
• Supports corporate principles and safety practices.
• Completes other assignments from leadership.
