Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Biomedical Imaging Equipment Technician to provide service, preventive maintenance, and on-call support for general imaging modalities including radiology rooms and ultrasound.

The role requires completing maintenance per PM plans, verifying issues, and assisting with equipment installations and other technical tasks across the hospital, with a focus on reliability and patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an electronic technical school.
• 1-3 years’ experience performing direct repair and maintenance on medical equipment.
• Associate's Degree in bio medical or electronic engineering.
• Experience with radiological or ultrasound devices.

Responsabilités

• Responds to unscheduled service requests from users by performing initial problem verification, troubleshooting, and problem correction. (35%)
• Completes scheduled maintenance following PMInspection and Protocol management plan. Initiates and completes documentation after repair or PM is completed. (45%)
• Attend service schools, in house training and self-directed study as required. (5%)
• Assists other technical positions in Clinical Engineering/Medical Physics, and other departments in the hospital as required. (5%)
• Assist with medical equipment installations as required. (10%)
• Performs all other duties as assigned or required.

Formation

Graduate from an electronic technical school.

Associate's Degree in bio medical or electronic engineering.
