Job summary

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level experience in commercial/industrial HVAC.
• Knowledge of chillers, HVAC systems and central plants.
• EPA certification required; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair central plant equipment including chillers 100 tons and larger, motors, pumps, valves, and cooling towers.
• Overhaul centrifugal chillers is a plus.
• Support the office with recommended repairs from delivery to completion.
• Respond to on-call emergency service calls in rotation.
• Perform end-to-end testing, programming, start-ups and commissioning.
• Schedule and manage site-wide maintenance and troubleshooting of chillers and central plant equipment.
• Conduct daily and monthly preventative maintenance on related equipment.
• Ensure maintenance is completed within scheduled timeframes.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for on-site equipment.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and comply with safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Chiller Field Supervisor on opportunities and issues.
