Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services in Durham, NC seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including ACUs, AHUs, heat pumps, VAVs, and chilled water systems.

You will read sequences of operation, monitor BMS, record readings, troubleshoot, and log service reports. Must have EPA Universal Refrigerant License, clean driving record, and CMMS experience; bilingual Spanish a plus; on-call rotation required.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience in industrial/commercial equipment and systems.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant License or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Read sequence of operation, schematics, blueprints and manuals for efficient servicing.
• Monitor BMS, diagnose root causes, and document findings with recommendations.
• Maintain logs and inventory, keep work areas clean, and ensure safe operations.
• Collaborate with CMMS planner/scheduler and assist on-call rotations as needed.
