Job summary

Avison Young is seeking an HVAC Technician to ensure uptime of critical systems at a Tysons, VA client site. The role requires maintenance of building systems, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to respond to emergencies.

The position offers hourly pay with bonus potential, and requires EPA 608 certification and relevant HVAC licenses. Candidates should be able to lift heavy items and work at heights, with a strong emphasis on quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience with complex HVAC systems and equipment including chillers, boilers, circulating pumps, AHUs, RTUs, FCUs, VAV systems, humidifiers and cooling towers.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems per company standards.
• Respond to emergency calls and on-call rotations; may require overtime/weekend work.
• Plan, manage and schedule work with the assigned manager; complete service jobs and PM inspections.
