Job summary

Avison Young is seeking an HVAC Technician in Tysons, VA to ensure uptime of critical systems and maintain building air handling and mechanical systems. Base hourly rate is estimated between $44.00 and $49.00, with potential bonus opportunities.

Candidates should have experience with chillers, boilers, VAVs, AHUs, RTUs, and related equipment. The role requires strong safety practices, ability to respond to emergencies, and the capacity to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to pass background and drug test
• Clean driving record and safe vehicle operation
• Experience with complex HVAC equipment and systems

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, VAVs and AHUs
• Adhere to safety procedures and ensure team compliance
• Schedule work with manager and complete service jobs and PM inspections
• Respond to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations
• Maintain logs, inventory and coordination with outside contractors
