Mission Action is seeking a Housing and Shelter Program Floater to support multiple housing and shelter sites. The role requires responding to emergencies, maintaining safety, and assisting with resident services and administrative tasks.

Experience serving diverse communities and a commitment to housing justice are valued. The position is part-time on call, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of direct service experience with HIV/AIDS, youth, families, adults, LGBTQ, and Latinx communities.
• Experience with trauma, substance use, and harm reduction approaches.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and boundary-setting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Screen visitors and greet residents/guests as first point of contact.
• Maintain a welcoming, client-centered environment with quality service.
• Oversee building activity; handle crises and de-escalation.
• Respond to emergencies following protocol and document incidents.
• Coordinate with residents on services and property management needs.
• Provide administrative support and participate in trainings.
