Job summary

Ecumen Hospice Twin Cities is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse, RN for on-call shifts in the Twin Cities territory. The role includes triaging patient needs over the phone, visiting patients with changing conditions, and admissions as necessary.

The position offers Weekdays 8am-4:30pm, with pay between $39.00 and $43.50 per hour. Licensure in Minnesota and driving are required; benefits for casual/on-call staff are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited RN program.
• 1 year nursing experience in post-acute care.
• Licensed RN in the state; valid driver's license.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Triage patient needs over the phone and during visits.
• Complete admissions and ongoing assessments.
• Develop and revise care plans with family involvement.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor symptoms.
• Coordinate with physicians and document care changes.
