St. Croix Hospice is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse to organize and direct hospice care in patients' homes and communities. The role emphasizes after-hours coverage, night and weekend calls, and comprehensive patient assessments with family involvement.

The RN will administer medications, teach families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, compassionate end‑of‑life care.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting, and 1–2 years in home care.
• Current licensure in state and CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and respond to calls during assigned night/weekend shifts to visit patients with changing conditions.
• Perform comprehensive patient/family assessments for after-hours care and develop plans of care.
• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and coordinate with the physician.
