St. Croix Hospice seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for 7/7 salaried On-Call duties. The RN handles hospice nursing care, visits, admissions, and after-hours calls, following a rotating 7 days on/off schedule.

Work hours are 5:00 PM–8:00 AM Monday–Thursday and 24 hours on weekends, with rotating holidays and standbys. The role requires comprehensive patient assessments, plan of care development, medication administration, family counseling, and meticulous documentation while ensuring HIPAA

Formación

• Current RN license in state(s) of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report, and drug test.

Responsabilidades

• Responds to after-hours calls and performs patient visits as needed.
• Completes comprehensive patient and family assessments and revises the plan of care as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician’s plan of care.
• Counsels patient and family on nursing and related needs.
• Maintains accurate clinical notes and HIPAA compliance.
• On-call duties include remaining available for calls and patient visits.
