Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking an experienced On-Call Registered Nurse for 7/7 coverage. The 5:00 PM–8:00 AM weekday shifts and 24-hour weekend duties require clinical excellence in hospice care, patient visits, admissions, and after-hours response.

Qualifications

• Must have a current RN license in state(s) of practice.
• Multistate license holders can practice in other states while maintaining primary RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report and drug test.
• If driving: valid driver's license and vehicle in good working order.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours hospice nursing care and visits.
• Respond to calls from triage and complete weekend admissions when needed.
• Develop and revise plans of care with patient/family input.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation of patient care.
