Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse On-Call to join our 24/7 care model, working evenings, nights, and weekends. The 7 days on / 7 days off overnight schedule supports work-life balance while delivering compassionate end-of-life care in home and hospice settings.

You will respond to triage calls, perform after-hours admissions, and provide symptom management with individualized care plans. RN license, CPR, and acute care experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
• 1+ year of recent acute care experience; hospice/home care preferred.
• Active RN license in state of practice and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Respond to triage calls and provide after-hours nursing visits for symptom management, admissions, and care plan updates.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on evolving needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, with patient and caregiver education.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
