Compassus is seeking an experienced Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse to provide after-hours and weekend patient care, ensuring comfort and quality of life. You will support families, educate caregivers, and collaborate with the care team to manage after-hours needs in home hospice settings.

This role requires an active RN license in the state, CPR/BCLS, and flexibility to work weekends or extended shifts, contributing to compassionate, patient-centered care across the region.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the state you work.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and weekend, as needs arise.
• Enable patients to spend quality time with loved ones and activities they enjoy.
• Build trusting compassionate relationships with patients and families.
• Educate caregivers on care for their loved one.
• Help the patient and family maintain maximum level of comfort and coping for after-hours emergencies.
