Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse to provide after-hours and weekend hospice care in patients' homes. You will build trusting relationships with patients and families, educate caregivers, and support comfort and coping during emergencies.

Two years RN experience with hospice preferred; an active state license, CPR/BCLS, and a valid driver's license are required. The role offers flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of RN experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and on weekends as needed.
• Build trusting, compassionate relationships with patients and families.
• Educate caregivers on patient care to support home-based hospice.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during after-hours emergencies.
