Job summary

Hospice of Southern Illinois is seeking a Weeknight On-Call Registered Nurse to respond to patient needs during evenings and weekends. The role includes phone triage, home visits, and coordinating care for patients across multiple counties from the Marion office.

Qualifications

• Graduate of state-approved school of nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required.
• 2 Year Degree preferred or relevant qualification.

Responsibilities

• Respond to needs during non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Triage calls by phone and provide guidance; determine if home visit is needed.
• Conduct home visits and assess patient/family care needs; plan and evaluate care.
