Job summary

St. Joseph Hospice is hiring a Full-Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to serve patients in Lafayette, LA. The role features a 7 on 7 off call rotation from 4:30 pm to 8:00 am and requires Louisiana RN licensure, CPR, and EMR experience.

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Louisiana.
• Current CPR certification.
• Make patient visits at their place of residence.
• 7 days on 7 days off call rotation 4:30 pm-8 am.
• Knowledge of EMR is required.
• Previous Home Health or Hospice experience needed.
• Compassionate RN with great time management skills.
• 50-70 mile driving radius.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in their homes within a 50–70 mile radius.
• Participate in the 7 on 7 off call rotation (4:30 pm–8:00 am).
• Coordinate with hospice care team to plan and adjust patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and EMR documentation.
