Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking a Hospice Nurse (LPN or RN) for a 7on/7off on-call schedule in the East Kansas City Metro area, covering Jackson County and parts of surrounding counties. Nurses will work alternating evenings and weekends to support patient needs after hours.

The role requires an active MO/KS nursing license, CPR certification, and 2–5 years hospice or end-of-life care experience.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing License in MO/KS
• Maintains CPR certification
• 2–5 years hospice/palliative care experience
• Knowledge of hospice care services and interdisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Analytical problem solving and high accuracy

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours hospice nursing care in patients' homes or facilities
• Assess, manage symptoms, educate families, and coordinate care
• Respond to patient/caregiver needs via phone, visits, and coordination with the team
