Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment and to provide equipment setup for patients. You will educate patients on proper usage and follow patient orientation checklists during deliveries.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of driving experience. A health care background is a plus, and you must lift 50+ pounds by yourself and maintain a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of experience in professional driving.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle and ensure safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain relations with patients and internal staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and adhere to FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends for medical emergencies.
