Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of customer service experience (Health Care industry preferred).
• Physical Demands: ability to walk or be independent in wheelchair mobility; stand or sit for long periods as needed.
• Competent with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors and staff with a friendly, professional demeanor to create positive first impressions.
• Assist arrivals in finding their location and use information desk volunteers to escort them as needed.
• Provide information and assistance at the West Information Desk and ensure visitor sign-in and badge processes are followed.
• Maintain lobby areas neat and tidy; assist with wheelchairs and equipment as needed; ensure safe operation.
• Protect confidentiality per HIPPA requirements; adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
