Union College in Schenectady, NY is seeking an On-call General Athletics Temporary Assistant to support game day operations, facility management, and rental supervision. This role assists with setup, event support, and breakdown for varsity contests and special events.

You will help with parking, guest directions, and on-site coverage for external facility rentals, while providing customer service to visiting teams, officials, spectators, and campus guests.

Formación

• High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred.
• Interest in athletics, event management, or facility operations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with game day operations for varsity athletic contests, including setup, event support, and breakdown.
• Support parking operations during athletic events, directing guests and maintaining safe access.
• Conduct facility opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, signage, barricades, tents, and athletic equipment.
• Provide customer service and guidance to visiting teams, officials, spectators, and campus guests.
• Serve as on-site support during external facility rentals, ensuring compliance with facility policies and rental agreements.
• Monitor facilities during events and report maintenance, safety, or security concerns to supervisory staff.
• Assist with equipment transportation and storage.
• Support special events hosted by the Athletics Department and external organizations.
• Perform other operational and administrative duties as assigned.
