Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is hiring a friendly, service-oriented Food Service Worker for the Cleveland Area Schools. This on-call position covers shifts as needed across multiple schools, typically Monday–Friday with limited evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to drive to different locations within a 60 minute radius.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils.
• Interact with guests in the serving, retail and dining areas.
• Follow proper guest service procedures by smiling, making eye contact and greeting guests.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all client and regulatory rules and procedures.
• Maintain a fast pace and ability to multitask when performing duties.
• Perform any other duties as specified by management.
