WSP Global Inc. is seeking On Call Field Archaeologists to support field projects across the southwest, Midwest, and southeast regions.

You will help collect, identify, and compile artifacts, spatial data, and observations, contributing to high-quality documentation and compliance with safety standards. The role requires an undergraduate degree in anthropology/archaeology, field experience, and the ability to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in anthropology/archaeology or related field; field school or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of archaeological or anthropology related experience.
• Experience leading field crews for Phase I/Class III pedestrian survey and shovel testing.
• Must be physically able to conduct fieldwork in all weather conditions and travel to project sites.

Responsabilités

• Assist with collecting, identifying, and compiling artifacts, observational, spatial, and archaeological data from field sites.
• Maintain quality control for accurate measurement and documentation.
• Support basic professional archaeological work and site verification tasks.
• Generate clear documentation using electronic systems and field notebooks.
• Follow safety guidelines and logbooks; maintain sample data and location records.
