Job summary

Nutrition 101 LLC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep the facility safe, functional, and well-maintained. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to repairs, and manage routine inspections of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, record-keeping in CMMS, and flexibility for on-call, overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed. A technical maintenance background and valid US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification, vocational training, or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical Technology, HVAC, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years of facilities/industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Working knowledge of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, mechanical, and general facility infrastructure.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility-related equipment issues.
Experience using CMMS or ability to learn and use company systems.
Knowledge of safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and applicable regulations.
Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead by example in adherence to all policies, processes and procedures in the Employee Manual, Safety Manual, and Department Manuals.
Conduct regular inspections of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment, to identify issues.
Follow scheduled maintenance to optimize equipment performance and reduce breakdowns.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
Replace or adjust defective components using tools and diagnostic equipment to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance in CMMS or logs.
Assist with installation, setup, and testing of new machinery as part of facility upgrades.
