Job summary

Community Council Of Idaho in Weiser, Idaho, is seeking an entry-level Education On Call substitute to support classroom activities and family learning programs in a school setting.

You will assist with records, help provide children with engaging experiences, and help maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment. Requires a high school diploma, background checks, TB clearance, and Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass physical examination and background checks, including state day care clearance.
• Must obtain clearance of Tuberculosis.
• Must obtain Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain records, documents, and databases.
• Help provide children with experiences to develop curiosity, initiative, problem-solving and creativity.
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment in a classroom.
• May assist with hygienic needs of infants, toddlers, and possibly preschoolers.
• Maintain clear, age-appropriate rules and expectations for children.
• Stay current on new educational practices and procedures.
• May perform bus monitor duties if needed.
