Job summary

Nourse Chillicothe Automall is seeking on-call, part-time vehicle drivers to transport company cars to and from auctions and dealerships in Chillicothe, Ohio. The role is ideal for retirees, students 18+, or parents needing flexible hours.

Drivers must have a valid driver’s license, maintain a clean driving record, and be able to work a schedule that includes at least three days per week and one Friday per month. Physical exams are required twice yearly.

Qualifications

• Must be insurable and possess a valid, insurable Driver’s License.
• Flexible schedule (able to work late hours if needed, and possible 12-hour shifts).
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions.
• Operate all vehicles in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable policies and procedures, traffic laws and regulations.
• Strong communication skills to interact with dealership personnel and follow directions precisely.
• Vision and driving fitness requirements as described (color vision, depth perception, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Transport company vehicles to and from auctions and dealerships.
• Take direction from the manager for pickup and delivery of vehicles.
• Be available for 3 or more days per week (Mon-Fri).
• Adhere to part-time schedule and no PTO eligibility.
• Maintain safe driving practices and complete required examinations as scheduled.

On-Call Vehicle Driver (Part-Time)(Chillicothe, OH):

With the "Busy Season" for used vehicle sales here, the Nourse Chillicothe Automall is looking for reliable, temporary employees to add to our pool of available drivers. The primary function of this position will be transporting company vehicles to and from various automotive auctions and/or dealerships.

This is a great opportunity for "young at heart" retirees, college students 18 years of age or older, or parents with school age children!

Compensation:

• $11.00/hr.
• Flexible Hours

Responsibilities:

• Drivers will take direction from their manager, who is responsible for coordinating the pickup and delivery of all vehicles.
• Daily objectives will be announced to drivers as soon as they are known, typically one day in advance.
• It will be necessary for all drivers to be available for 3 or more days per week to drive. (Monday-Friday)
• Drivers may not work more than 32 hours per payroll week (Wednesday-Tuesday) and are considered part time.
• All drivers are required to work at least one Friday per month.
• All drivers must complete a physical examination twice per year, deeming them fit-to-drive.
• All time off for vacation must be made to the driver manager two or more weeks before the vacation is planned.
• Paid time off is not available to part time employees

You MUST HAVE a clean driving record and be insurable by our corporate insurance underwriter.
