Job summary

Nourse Chillicothe Automall in Chillicothe, OH is seeking an on-call, part-time Vehicle Driver to support our busy season. You will transport company vehicles to and from auctions and dealerships, following manager directions and safety policies.

This flexible role is ideal for retirees, students 18+, or parents seeking limited hours. A clean driving record and insurability under our underwriter are required.

Qualifications

• Must be insurable and possess a valid, insurable Driver’s License.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work late hours; may include 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to drive vehicles with both standard and automatic transmissions.
• Drive safely and in compliance with company policies and laws.
• Good vision including color perception and depth perception.
• Effective communication with dealership personnel and team members.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pickup and delivery of vehicles as directed by the manager.
• Follow daily objectives and communicate changes in advance.
• Be available for 3+ days per week (Mon-Fri).
• Part-time role with a maximum of 32 hours per payroll week.
• Work at least one Friday per month.
• Complete a physical examination twice per year to remain fit-to-drive.
• Note: Paid time off is not available for part-time employees.

On-Call Vehicle Driver (Part-Time)(Chillicothe, OH):

With the "Busy Season" for used vehicle sales here, the Nourse Chillicothe Automall is looking for reliable, temporaryemployees to add to our pool of availabledrivers. The primary function of this position will betransporting company vehicles to and from various automotive auctions and/or dealerships.

This is a great opportunity for "young at heart" retirees, college students 18 years of age or older, or parents with school age children!

Compensation:

• $11.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Drivers will take direction from their manager, whois responsible for coordinating the pickup and delivery of all vehicles.
• Daily objectives will be announced to drivers as soon as they are known, typically one day in advance.
• It will be necessary for all drivers to be available for 3 or more days per week to drive. (Monday-Friday)
• Drivers may not work more than 32 hours per payroll week (Wednesday-Tuesday)and are considered part time.
• All drivers are required to work at least one Friday per month.
• All drivers must complete aphysical examination twice per year,deeming them fit-to-drive.
• All time off for vacation must be made to the driver manager two or more weeks before the vacation is planned.
• Paidtime offis not available to part time employees

You MUST HAVE a clean driving record and be insurable by our corporate insurance underwriter.

Requirements:

• Ability to drive vehicle with standard and automatic transmissions.
• Operate all vehicles in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable company policies and procedures, traffic laws and regulations.
• Observe rules of the road and demonstrate courtesy and defensive driving techniques.
• Vision abilities required. Close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Constantly required to enter and exit vehicles
• Strong communication skills in order to interact effectively with dealership personnel and follow directions precisely.
