Job summary

ICF seeks experienced emergency management professionals to join our Disaster Response Logistics Section Reservist Cadre as On-Call personnel. Responsibilities include deploying to EOCs, JFOs, DRCs, or client sites to enable incident operations through facilities, supplies, and services.

Assignments vary in duration and location with the possibility of evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reservists are hired as On-Call employees, scheduled as projects arise, and may work on concurrent projects if

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in logistics, emergency management, or related fields.
• 2+ years of professional experience in incident management, emergency operations, or logistics functions.
• 2+ years coordinating resources, personnel, or facilities in logistics and services.
• 2+ years producing reports, plans, or decision-support materials.
• Completion of FEMA/NIMS IC courses: 100, 200, 700, 800; valid U.S. driver’s license and pass MVR.
• Must be willing to travel nationwide with short notice; able to deploy to varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Support ordering, tracking, deployment, and accountability of personnel and resources.
• Coordinate logistics activities for emergency response and recovery, including transport, facilities, and lodging.
• Support EOC activations, briefings, planning meetings, and incident management tasks.
• Coordinate with operations, planning, vendors, and partner organizations to support incident priorities.
• Assist with establishing emergency facilities and ensuring workspace, equipment, and services meet needs.
• Support deployment readiness, disaster recovery operations, and field logistics for teams.
• Apply NIMS and ICS principles in emergency response and recovery operations.
