Job summary

Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for PRN/on-call healthcare support. DSPs help individuals in VOAC programs with daily living activities and community integration while safeguarding well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills.
• Possess a valid Trained Medication Employee (TME) license.

Responsibilities

• Teach independent living skills to participants in VOAC programs.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Facilitate medication administration under RN supervision for TME-certified staff.
• Promote safety and community integration for participants.
