Willamette Dental Group is seeking an on-call Dental Assistant to support the dentist, hygienist and other providers. The role emphasizes patient comfort, radiography, sterilization, and four-handed dentistry under state regulations.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and Oregon radiography certification, with EFDA eligibility within 180 days. Travel to other Willamette locations is possible based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and credentials to function as a Dental Assistant per state requirements.
• Desirable: Graduation from an ADA-accredited dental assisting program and/or EFDA.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment and materials for all dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort.
• Work under the supervision of a dentist, performing four-handed dentistry within state scope.
• Counsel patients in post-operative care and general oral health; explain evidence-based dentistry.
