Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and credentials to function as a Dental Assistant per state requirements.
• EFDA credential or graduation from an ADA accredited program preferred.
• Oregon Radiology Proficiency certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment and materials for dental procedures.
• Work under the supervision of a dentist performing four-handed dentistry within state practice act.
• Take and develop dental radiographs and impressions for study casts.
• Counsel patients on post-operative care and oral health and maintain patient comfort.
• Maintain sterilization areas and PPE according to policy and OSHA/WISHA rules.
