Willamette Dental Group in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an On‑Call Dental Assistant to support dentists, hygienists, denturists, and other providers. You will prepare instruments, take radiographs, assist with four‑handed dentistry, and ensure sterilization and PPE compliance.

Required: high school diploma or GED and state credentials; Oregon Radiology Proficiency; EFDA within 180 days of hire; BLS. Some travel to other WD locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with state credentials to function as a dental assistant.
• EFDA or ADA‑accredited program is preferred but not required.
• Oregon radiology proficiency certification required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment and materials for dental procedures.
• Assist dentist with four‑handed dentistry and related duties under supervision.
• Counsel patients on post‑operative care and oral health basics.
• Take and develop dental radiographs and manage patient medical history checks.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized sterilization area; adhere to PPE policy.
