Job summary

Willamette Dental Group in Spokane Valley is seeking an on-call dental assistant to support dentists and hygienists across multiple practices. You will assist with four-handed dentistry, take radiographs, impressions, and help ensure patient comfort while maintaining strict sterilization and PPE standards.

Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and state credentials, with ADA/EFDA training preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and credentials to function as a Dental Assistant per state requirements.
• Graduation from an ADA accredited dental assisting program and/or EFDA preferred.
• Holds credentials per state regulations and BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain instruments for dental procedures, keeping patients relaxed and comfortable.
• Assist a dentist in four-handed dentistry and related tasks within state guidelines.
• Take and develop dental radiographs and impressions for study casts.
• Counsel patients on post-operative care and oral health basics.
• Maintain sterilization areas and adhere to PPE policies.
