Job summary

Willamette Dental Group is seeking an on-call Dental Assistant to support our Bellevue and surrounding clinics. You will assist dentists and hygienists, handle four-handed dentistry, and help deliver high-quality patient care across procedures.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with state credentials, plus potential EFDA or ADA-accredited training. Washington RDA, sealant certification, and BLS are preferred. Travel to WD locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and credentials to function as a Dental Assistant per state requirements.
• ADA accredited dental assisting program or EFDA preferred.
• Washington – Registered Dental Assistant at hire; Sealant certification; Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment and materials for all dental procedures.
• Assist dentist with four-handed dentistry and dental assisting within state practice act.
• Counsel patients in post-operative care and general oral health; explain treatments.
• Take and develop dental radiographs.
• Review patient medical history and vital signs.
• Take impressions of teeth for study casts.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain sterilization area in compliance with policy and OSHA/WISHA.
• Wear PPE and travel to other Willamette Dental locations as needed.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
