Job summary

The Culinary Academy of Las Vegas (CALV) is seeking an Adjunct Instructor - Culinary for on-call coverage at the North Las Vegas campus. You will deliver engaging culinary instruction, teaching both theory and hands-on components, and provide instructional coverage as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in a commercial kitchen, comfort teaching diverse learners, and basic computer skills. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2+ years in a commercial kitchen.
• Experience with diverse learners preferred.
• Basic computer skills and kitchen technologies knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality culinary instruction.
• Teach theory and hands-on components of culinary arts.
• Provide instructional coverage as needed.
• Support CE courses when requested; assist with admin duties.
